Inspired by the radiate crown on Roman imperial coinage - emperors depicted with solar rays, claiming the light of Apollo. The SERICA Sunburst Coin Relief Pendant is hand-polished in 925 sterling silver with 18K gold vermeil (1.0 μm). A bicolor structure: a central antiqued silver medallion with a classical goddess profile in relief, her features deep as an unearthed Silk Road coin, a beaded rim echoing ancient minting; an outer eight-ray gold frame radiating like the sun itself, interspersed with gold bead accents. ~30mm overall height, with the bail concealed behind the top ray. Silver holding antiquity, gold blazing forth - the afterglow of Rome and the Persian sun wheel suspended over the heart. Avoid alcohol and cosmetics. Polish with a soft cloth.
